CODE OF CONDUCT
Members of Mona Vale Spiritualist Church
agree to:
1. Act in a manner which promotes and encourages the practice, study and investigation of the Art, Science, Religion and Philosophy of Spiritualism as based upon the Seven Principles of Spiritualism
2. Act in a manner that brings credit to Spiritualism, Mona Vale Spiritualist Church and the Victorian Spiritualists Union
3. Understand & uphold national and state laws relating to the practise of mediumship
4. Behave with kindness, respect, integrity, courtesy and discretion
5. Show respect and support to Mona Vale Spiritualist Church and the Victorian Spiritualist Union, in all verbal, written and electronic communications, including on social networking sites
In addition to the above, Ministers & Officers:
6. Accept their responsibility and agree to act in a truthful, caring and respectful manner to demonstrate and deeply acknowledge the trust and solemn honour of their position when consoling the bereaved or assisting people who seek their guidance
7. Encourage a sympathetic, hopeful and positive attitude towards themselves, other people, and the wider community
